Registered under the Societies Act, the Income Tax department of India has granted 80G certification to the NGO and all the donors will get tax rebate for their donations to the NGO. Despite limited financial resources, the NGO is able to spend over Rs 20 lakh till now on various welfare activities in the state and in some parts of India. Since our beginning in the year 2004 we have not taken a single penny as aid from the government and have carried out welfare activities on the basis of the donations from people who really mean to help the poor and needy.
15 Years, bagful of Achievements
Vivekanand Seva Sansthan has spent many lakhs in the last 15 years on various welfare activities and has benefited hundreds of helpless, poor and needy people. The Sansthan is currently providing monthly pension to over fifty helpless poor and needy old men and widows in over five villages in Rajasthan.
